Care, preparation and embalming of a loved one

Embalming is about sanitizing, preserving and presenting the body so that the loved one may be presented in a manner that is natural and/or fits the character of the person.

Embalming is carried out so that the deceased can be viewed by family members in a family home, funeral home or nursing home/ hospital mortuary.
